The Challenge
My client, a voiceover actress, wanted to share her secrets to building a successful VO career by writing a book designed for aspiring voice actors. We knew we were entering a saturated market and needed a solid plan to get the word out.

The Work
My client already had an engaged fan base, which made my job a lot easier. Months before the book release, I built rapport with them by teasing the book on her social channels. She wanted to capture the eyes of fellow actors, casting directors, and agents alike, so I focused on LinkedIn and posted updates to her audience twice per week. I also built a landing page on her website, which contained a pre-order form that would give them an auto discount on their initial book purchase.
To capture people who were not aware of her work, I reached out to podcasters who produced VO and acting content, and got her booked on their shows.

The Results
The book was released in several formats to appeal to every buyer. There’s an ebook, audiobook, and paperback version. I uploaded the book to KDP, Amazon’s self publishing platform, and on her website. She’s enjoying sales from both platforms, driven by consistent, engaging marketing via email and social media.
